Acrylic Adhesives

Venture products specifying Acrylic Adhesives are uniformly manufactured with a specially developed formulation which combines exceptionally high shear strength with both high tack and cold stick properties, so important in working under less-than-ideal conditions. The bond strength of the products in this aggressive, high temperature adhesive family actually increases after application, through self cross-linking of its acrylic polymers.

Polyethylene Reinforced Foil Tape 1529CW

A tridirectonally reinforced, hand tearable, expanded polyethylene foil tape coated with acrylic adhesive which exhibits superior quick stick at high and low temperatures. Resistant to moisture, it is recommended for use in conditions of high humidity. Meets AS 1530 - Part 3.

Primary use: Vapor seal for reinforced aluminum faced fiberglass or mineral wool thermal insulation.

Duct Tape

UL-181B-FX 3 mil (75 micron) Printed Flexible Duct Closure Tape 1599B

A polypropylene film with an acrylic, "CW" cold weather adhesive system. Will perform well in either sub-zero cold or abnormally warm temperatures. UL listed. Meets or exceeds all state building codes requireing UL181B-FX. Colour Silver

Primary use: Sealing flexible air ducts and air connectors.
